  1. Research 3D object files and how similar Tool Path Encoders function.
  2. Research rotary encoder, stepper motors and installation methods.
  3. Research 3D scanners and implementation methods.
  4. Research limit switches and optical safety sensors.
  5. Research cutting tools and related connections.
  6. Research power supplies.
  7. Research Microcontrollers.
  8. Research the communication protocol for the computer and CNC router to use to communicate.
  9. Create parts list and order parts.
  10. Design the Tool Path Encoder Program to convert a CAD file into a file the router will use as directions.
  11. Design the Communication Program.
  12. Research, design and order any necessary materials for the CNC router frame/housing.
